More and more travel agencies, especially English-speaking ones from the UK, are currently approaching our exhibitors and offering allegedly “entitled discounts” on hotel accommodation. We would like to point out that Messe München GmbH has not commissioned any travel agencies, especially in the UK or the U.S., to contact exhibitors and sell hotel rooms. Please be alert if you are contacted from English-speaking telephone numbers that also give the impression of calling in the name and on behalf of the event team. Do not book any hotel rooms over the phone if you receive such a call, and do not disclose any payment information over the phone.

No. A binding contract is only concluded when you accept the placement proposal and after approval by Messe München GmbH.

Given the high demand and for the further planning of bauma, we kindly ask you to inform us as soon as possible about a possible cancellation of your registration, at the latest upon receipt of the placement proposal.
Payment deadline for the admission invoice is July 11, 2022.
No. Unfortunately, costs already incurred are not refundable. We will of course ask our partners to act accommodatingly.
No. The space prices will remain the same as for bauma 2022 (April).
In accordance with the postponement of bauma, the exhibitor store will go online in spring 2022.
We cannot make any statements about individual contractual relationships with exhibitors.
As usual, we will keep you up to date via the bauma website and by sending you our exhibitor information.
If bauma is canceled, the obligation to pay the participation fee does not apply if a contract has already been concluded with Messe München GmbH; participation fees already paid will be refunded after the event has been canceled. Ordered services that have already been provided, however, must be paid for. If the event is postponed again, we will notify you as soon as possible and inform you about the further procedure.
It is our top priority to deal with this situation responsibly. Hence, we are in close contact with the responsible authorities and take their recommendation into account when organizing events.
The postponement is the result of many discussions between Messe München and top industry representatives as well as the Advisory Board. Considering the worldwide pandemic and the long planning times for major capital goods trade fairs, the decision had to be made now. This provides exhibitors and visitors a secure planning basis for preparing the upcoming bauma.
For visitor groups who are unable to attend bauma to also participate, we are currently developing digital solutions that will enable us and our exhibitors to increase their reach and that of bauma.
