Transporters, forklifts, cranes, machines and equipment, and the set-up teams in the middle of it all: The set-up of bauma, which will take place from October 24 to 30 on the outdoor area of the Munich exhibition grounds, is well underway. On October 11, other exciting segments will start their set-up phase in the 18 halls.
The world’s leading trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment expects the visit of more than 3,100 exhibitors from around 60 countries. Spread over a total of 614,000 square meters (the same as roughly 86 soccer fields), split into 414,00 square meters of outdoor space and 200,000 square meters of hall space, bauma is the largest trade fair in the world in terms of exhibition space.
In addition to numerous excavators, dump trucks, asphalting machines and mixing towers, when bauma opens its doors on October 24, participants can also once again look forward to the famous “crane forest” with more than 30 cranes.
You can see a few pictures showing what the outdoor area of bauma currently looks like during construction, how small the large machines and systems are before they are assembled and how extensive some stand constructions. Meanwhile, the bauma webcam offers an all-round overview.
