All relevant information regarding logistics and traffic on the exhibition grounds as well as set-up and dismantling times during bauma.
The Traffic guide takes you quickly and safely to the exhibition grounds. Please read the Traffic Guide carefully and forward it to your stand constructor, forwarding agent and driver. It contains all access regulations for set-up, fair and dismantling.

In order to increase efficiency and organisation during set-up and dismantling, Messe München relies on an IT-supported system for logistics processing—FairLog:
Our competent logistics partners will help you with questions regarding special transports, security and environmental guidelines and customs clearance. In addition, they take care of on-site handling including empties management, temporary storage, and the rental of cranes, forklifts, and working and lifting platforms for stand assembly.
Shipments of goods, letters or other items to be delivered to the exhibitor's stand must contain the following information:
bauma 2025
Name of the exhibitor
Hall + stand number
Am Messesee 2
81829 Munich
GERMANY
Please note:
Services with regard to the receipt and dispatch of consignments are offered by the authorized freight forwarders at the exhibition center.
To make it easier to set up and dismantle at events, exhibitors have the option of applying for an exemption from the ban on driving on Sundays, Public holidays and Saturdays during the summer for the transport of exhibition goods by trucks over 7.5 tonnes.
The truck check-in is located in Klausnerstraße in 85609 Aschheim. There are signs from the Feldkirchen-West junction (A94) or Kirchheim bei München (A99). There is also a QR code on the last page of the traffic guide, which can be scanned with a smartphone for navigation.
In principle, any forwarding agent can be commissioned to deliver or collect goods. However, only Messe München's forwarding partners are permitted to load or unload goods on the exhibition grounds using forklift trucks or cranes.
Loading work using forklift trucks and cranes is reserved for Messe München's forwarding partners only. Truck-mounted loading cranes may also not be used.
Messe München is located outside the low emission zone, so there are no restrictions in this respect.
On the last day of operation (Sunday, April 13), access is only possible until 12:00 noon as part of the deposit regulation, after which access is only possible again at the end of the dismantling access.
Vehicles with a time slot obligation (over 7.5 t / 8 m) may only enter the site on the first day of dismantling. A booked time slot is required for this.
Toilets and showers are available to drivers at the truck check-in.
Information on set-up and dismantling times can be found at Tips, Dates & Deadlines.
During the setup and dismantling of the trade fair, there is a high risk potential, especially for people who are not familiar with setup/dismantling activities. For safety reasons, unauthorized persons and children are therefore expressly prohibited from entering and remaining in the halls and on the open-air grounds. We therefore ask that you do not bring children to the exhibition grounds during this period.
If, in exceptional cases, this is not possible, children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times while on the exhibition grounds.
