The startup area at bauma
In 2022, bauma succeeded in connecting more than 3,200 exhibitors with over 495,000 visitors. In 2025, bauma will also be "the place to be" – because nowhere else in the world will you find a comparable number of international key players and decision-makers in the construction machinery sector who are looking for future solutions for the industry and for intensive industry exchange.

Application as a startup
The Application as a Startup at the Startup Area is only possible via the online application form. The application is not binding. Please note that the admission and scheduling of the Startups will be done by decision of the bauma project management based on the mentioned requirement criteria. The placement offers will be sent to the start-ups after approval and the application deadline. (Expected 15 October)
Important: The Innovation Hall bauma LAB0 and thus also the Startup Area are only open from Monday, April 7 to Friday, April 11, 2025.
Official start for applying as a startup: April 2, 2024
Official deadline for applying as a startup: September 30, 2024
Applications received after the application deadline will be placed on our waiting list for the time being.

Admission criteria for start-ups
- Startups that have been in existence as an independent company for less than ten years and have successfully passed the seed and foundation stages
- Market capitalization of less then EUR 50 million
- classification in at least one point of the key topics for the start-ups
- all Eligibility can be found in the "Special Terms of Participation B"
