Since its premiere at bauma 2022, the "Machines in Construction MiC 4.0" working group has continuously worked on further developing the flagship project. The results of this important work will be presented again in the Innovation hall bauma LAB0 at the upcoming bauma 2025.
Without digitization and the joint standardization required for this, the industry of construction machinery manufacturers and users can no longer be competitive in the future. As early as 2022, the MiC 4.0 working group made a big impact with its MiC 4.0 bus for the universal use of attachments on excavators, which it will continue to drive forward and show at bauma 2025.
With the new MiC 4.0 TestTool, an existing standard - ISO 15143-3 - is "touchable" and verifiable, and with the MiC 4.0 database it is made transparent to the user. Information about construction machinery and about all the data that can be obtained from the respective machines can be transparently viewed in the common data language agreed upon under MiC 4.0 and the meaning of the data.
A new API for special deep hole drilling machines rounds off the other results of MiC 4.0 at bauma 2025 and propels the machine user a further step towards the digitisation of the construction site and manufacturer-independent and cross-machine data.
Please note: The innovation hall bauma LAB0 is open from April 7 to 11, 2025.
