The bauma FORUM powered by VDMA offered international keynotes, presentations and panel discussions around the key topics of bauma 2022. It took place from 24-28 October 2022 in the innovation hall bauma LAB0.

Day 1 | Construction methods and materials of tomorrow
Whether it's green cement, 3D concrete printing, serial construction or aerated parts—exhibitors revolutionising the construction industry with their deep-tech solutions in the field of construction processes and materials are given a stage here.
Day 2 | The way to autonomous machines
The future of construction machinery is autonomous—from robots on construction sites, sensor technology and data processing to new operating concepts for autonomous driving. Present your solution for the autonomous future of the construction industry here.
Day 3 | Mining—sustainable, efficient and reliable
Whether it regards climate protection, resource efficiency, interoperability, digitalisation, machine-to-X communication or the autonomisation of mining—on this day, you can present your innovation for the mining industry.
Day 4 | Digital construction site
The construction site of the future is digital and networked. Solutions in the area of digital twins, a uniform “digital language” and with the same understanding of the transmitted data content, telematics, remote control, building information modelling, virtual and augmented reality and, at the end of the day, the much desired M2M communication show the way to more resource efficiency and work facilitation.
Day 5 | The way to Zero Emission
Present your innovative technologies showing how the path to Zero Emission in the construction machinery sector can succeed—from production to the construction site, with material and process innovations for decarbonisation to sustainable mobility drives through green hydrogen or electrification.
In order to apply for a speaking slot, you must have received your confirmed allocation as an exhibitor at bauma. Please fill in the form in the download area below and send it to claudia.bednarek@messe-muenchen.de by 27 May 2022.
After the registration deadline, the applications will be reviewed and selected. Around the end of June we will inform you whether you have been selected for one of the limited exhibitor speaking slots.
After confirming a speaking slot, we will provide you with further information about your presentation and collect information from you which we will use to promote your talk.

Every three years, bauma is the innovation driver for the international construction, building materials and mining machinery industry. No other trade fair of the sector presents so many new products and developments. The VDMA, Messe München and the top associations of the German construction industry announce the bauma Innovation Award every year at bauma.
The International bauma Innovation Award was presented for the 13th time at bauma 2022. The competition is a joint initiative between bauma and the following well-known trade associations:
The organizers award the prize to research and development teams from companies and universities that are bringing practical leading technology for the construction, building materials and mining industry to market readiness while focusing on resources, the environment and people.
After a multi-stage selection process, the following five lucky winners were able to receive their prize this year:
The celebration of all 15 nominees and the announcement of the winners by Hubert Aiwanger, Bavarian Deputy Minister President and Minister of Economics, took place on October 23, the evening before bauma, in the Max-Joseph-Saal of the Munich Residenz.
The prize winners in the individual categories were also presented on Monday, October 24, in the bauma FORUM.
