bauma FORUM - the heart of the bauma supporting program
Are you interested in complementing your visibility at bauma? The bauma FORUM powered by VDMA features presentations by international experts from industry, academics and the startup scene discussing the key topics of bauma 2025. The bauma FORUM will take place from 7 – 11 April, 2025 in the Innovation Hall bauma LAB0.

Benefits as a speaker at the bauma FORUM
- Here, exhibitors, universities, startups and associations can benefit from a valuable presentation opportunity in the innovative environment of hall B0 in the ICM.
- Each day of the bauma FORUM focuses on one of the five key topics of bauma 2025, highlighting the respective topic from different angles. Exhibitors can apply for a 30-minute speaking slot referring to one of the key topics.
- Use this opportunity to present your innovative technologies, products and services to an international and high-level audience. You will also benefit from high visibility through our intensive promotion of the forum programme and the innovation hall LAB0 before, during and after the show.

Register in 3 steps for an exhibitor speaking slot:
1. Fill in the application form
In order to apply for a speaking slot, you must have received your confirmed allocation as an exhibitor at bauma. Please fill in the form in the download area below and send it to claudia.bednarek@messe-muenchen.de by 11 October 2024.
2. Selection process & confirmation of a speaker slot
After the registration deadline, the applications will be reviewed and selected. At the beginning of December 2024, we will inform you whether you have been selected for one of the limited exhibitor speaking slots.
3. Briefing on the presentation & further information
After confirming a speaking slot, we will provide you with further details about your presentation and collect information from you which we will use to promote your talk.

The International bauma Innovation Award
At the International bauma Innovation Award, you will experience sustainable and economic developments with high practical benefits.
Every three years, bauma is the innovation driver for the international construction, building materials and mining machinery industry. No other trade fair of the sector presents so many new products and developments. The VDMA, Messe München and the top associations of the German construction industry announce the bauma Innovation Award at every bauma edition.
bauma – a driving force behind innovations
The International bauma Innovation Award will be presented for the 14th time at bauma 2025. The competition is a joint initiative between bauma and the following well-known trade associations:
- German Engineering Federation (VMDA)
- German Construction Industry Association (HDB)
- Central Association of the German Construction Industry (ZDB)
- German Building Materials Association (bbs)
The organizers award the prize to research and development teams from companies and universities that are bringing practical leading technology for the construction, building materials and mining industry to market readiness while focusing on resources, the environment and people.
Exhibitors at bauma 2025 and member companies of the construction associations HDB, ZDB and bbs can apply in the following five categories:
- Climate protection
- Digitization
- Machine technology
- Construction
- Research
The application period starts on May 2, 2024 and ends on August 23, 2024.
