We would like to point out that there may be longer waiting times on arrival.
Please pay attention to our traffic guidance system on the highways, which will direct you to the designated parking spaces, as well as to the current information in the bauma app.
Please use our signposted parking areas. Vehicles parked illegally will be towed away for a fee.

We strongly recommend that you follow the news on the current traffic situation on arrival and departure.
By public transportation
This year's Print@home ticket includes free use of local public transport to and from Messe München (MVV ticket for zones M-6) on the specified day of your visit. As a ticket for the Munich public transportation system, the ticket (as a printout or digitally as a PDF ticket on a cell phone) is only valid in conjunction with a passport or identity card. The mobile ticket does not entitle the holder to use public transport.
Our tip: Especially on the busy days of Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12, public transportation is usually the fastest way to get to the trade fair.

Further information
Subway (U-Bahn)
The U2 underground line takes you directly to the Messestadt West and Messestadt Ost stops. From Monday to Sunday, the U2 runs every 3 minutes during rush hour.
S-Bahn
You can also get to bauma by S-Bahn. Take the S2 to the Riem stop. From there, take bus line 190 to Messestadt West. Alternatively, you can also reach the West Entrance of the exhibition grounds in about 15 minutes on foot. Or take the S4 to Trudering and change there to the subway line U2 in the direction of Messestadt Ost.
Please note:
From Monday, April 7, 2025 to Friday, April, 11, 2025 between 22:00 and 04:00, the S-Bahn line S2 will be out of service. A rail replacement service will be operated on the line at the times stated.
For the weekend, April 12 and April 13, 2025 from 05:30 to 16:00 on the S-Bahn lines S2, S4, S6 and S8, the following regulations for trade fair visitors must be observed:
- Line S2: Between Ostbahnhof and M-Riem, the S2 runs every 20 minutes without stopping at Leuchtenbergring and Berg-am-Laim. Passengers traveling to or from Markt Schwaben must expect a longer stop in Feldkirchen.
- Line S4: The S4 will only run between Puchheim and Heimeranplatz during this period. At Heimeranplatz, passengers have a connection to the U5 to Innsbrucker Ring and on to the U2 to Messestadt.
- Lines S6 and S8: Both lines are out of service east of Ostbahnhof. A rail replacement service will be operated on the route at the times stated. Passengers traveling from the airport are recommended to take the S1. In Feldmoching (or Hauptbahnhof) there is a connection to the U2 to Messestadt.
By train
The train takes you to bauma in Munich in a comfortable, safe and environmentally friendly way.
You can reach the exhibition center from the main train station in about 20 minutes.

By car and bus
Please note: There are no central parking spaces available (for visitors) on the exhibition grounds. Please use either public transportation or the designated parking areas in the vicinity of the exhibition grounds.
A dynamic traffic guidance system regulates the flow of vehicles on the exhibition grounds and on the A99 and A94 highways. It will direct you to the nearest available parking spaces during the event.
For detailed information on the parking areas, please refer to the interactive parking area map and the bauma app. Please note that access in front of the entrances is restricted during trade fairs.
All parking areas open two hours before the start of the trade fair and close around 11 pm.

In addition to the parking areas in the vicinity of the trade fair, you can use the approx. 5,000 parking spaces in the P+R parking garages and facilities of the MVV network. The admission ticket for bauma 2025 entitles you to use public transport in the entire MVV network area in zone M-6 on the respective days of validity.

Coaches / Shuttle
There are several car parks for coaches near bauma, which can be reached on foot in just a few minutes.
External shuttle busses can use the P+R bus terminal at the East Entrance for a maximum of 10 minutes at a time to board and alight visitors.
It is also possible for groups with restricted mobility to board and alight here.
Shuttle busses are not permitted to park here and may only park in the designated parking areas.
Important: Pre-registration of shuttle trips to the P+R bus terminal at the East Entrance must be made via the following e-mail busterminal@messe-muenchen.de.
Campervans
Separate parking spaces are also set up for campervans during bauma 2022. These are located at the Olympia equestrian stadium. Here, there is a free shuttle bus to the exhibition grounds that travels daily between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. during the duration of bauma.

Taxi
If you would like to travel between the airport, hotel and exhibition centre by taxi, the taxi rank is only a few steps away. At the airport, it is located directly in front of the terminals. At the exhibition centre you will find taxi ranks at the West, North and East entrances.
E-charging stations
There are 80 charging stations available in the Parkhaus West parking garage. The activation for free refuelling is done with common chip / transponder cards. It is not possible to make a reservation in advance.
- Parkhaus West parking garage charging stations: only accessible when the car park is open for an event. The charging units are located on level U1.
- Charging is generally free, although parking fees in the parking garage must be paid.
- A card with an RFID chip is needed to access the charging station. These chips are often built into hotel cards, time logging cards and EC cards.
- The charging stations cannot be reserved in advance.
E-scooter
In the interests of sustainability, it is also possible to travel to the event on e-scooters.
Please only park the e-scooters in the designated zone and not on pavements.
It is not permitted to take or use them on the bauma site.
Bikes
If you are travelling by bicycle, please use the bicycle stands in front of the West + East entrances to the exhibition centre. The bicycle stands are open to the public and are not guarded.
It is forbidden to lock your bicycle to the fencing around the exhibition centre. These will be removed for a fee if necessary.
By plane
Germany’s second largest airport guarantees excellent continental and intercontinental air connections. Messe München is located 42 kilometers south of Munich Airport. Shuttle buses, public transport and taxis take you directly to the exhibition center.

Get directly from the airport to bauma and back: Our shuttle buses travel every 15 minutes and drop you off at the North entrance of the exhibition grounds. Travel time: around 45 minutes.
To get to the other bauma entrances, you can transfer to the all-around shuttle at the North entrance.
