The following list contains everything participants need to know to plan their trip and how to get there: From air, rail and car to the public transport infrastructure, all travel routes are covered.
We would like to point out that there may be longer waiting times on arrival.
Please pay attention to our traffic guidance system on the highways, which will direct you to the designated parking spaces, as well as to the current information in the bauma app.
Please use our signposted parking areas. Vehicles parked illegally will be towed away for a fee.

Current traffic situation on the radio
We strongly recommend that you follow the news on the current traffic situation on arrival and departure.
This year's Print@home ticket includes free use of local public transport to and from Messe München (MVV ticket for zones M-6) on the specified day of your visit. As a ticket for the Munich public transportation system, the ticket is only valid in conjunction with a passport or identity card.
Our tip: Especially on the busy days of Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12, public transportation is usually the fastest way to get to the trade fair.
Download the free MVGO Fahrinfo München app to your smartphone in advance. This will provide you with connection information and current operating messages.
The U2 underground line takes you directly to the Messestadt West and Messestadt Ost stops. From Monday to Sunday, the U2 runs every 3 minutes during rush hour.
You can also get to bauma by S-Bahn. Take the S2 to the Riem stop. From there, take bus no. 190 to Messestadt West. Alternatively, you can reach the west entrance of the exhibition centre in about 15 minutes on foot. Or take the S4 to Trudering and change there to the underground line U2 in the direction of Messestadt Ost.
The train takes you to bauma in Munich in a comfortable, safe and environmentally friendly way.
You can reach the exhibition center from the main train station in about 20 minutes.

Messe München is located directly on the A94. You can reach the exhibition center via the Feldkirchen-West exit (exit no. 6) or the München-Riem exit (exit no. 5) .
A dynamic traffic guidance system regulates the flow of vehicles on the site . It will direct you to the nearest available parking spaces during the event.
Please note: There are no central parking spaces available on the exhibition grounds. Please use either public transportation or the parking areas designated below in the vicinity of the trade fair.
Cars—official trade fair parking spaces
Around the exhibition grounds, a dynamic traffic guidance system regulates the flow of vehicles. It will guide you to the nearest available parking area. You can find detailed information on the parking areas in the bauma app and in the parking map, which will be available in the fall. Please note that the driveways in front of the entrances are restricted during trade fairs.

Cars—Park & Ride
If you are travelling to bauma in your own car, there are special parking facilities available for bauma participants. From there, free shuttle buses or public transport will take you directly to the exhibition centre.
All car parks open two hours before the trade fair begins and close at around 11 pm.
P East 42 “Feldkirchen”
On all days of the fair—The car parks are located directly at the A94 motorway junction Feldkirchen-Ost. Parking is subject to a charge of 15 euros.

P East 44 “Aschheimer Feld”
On all trade fair days—If you are travelling via the A99 motorway, leave the motorway at the Aschheim-Ismaning junction. Parking is subject to a charge of 15 euros.

P West 83 “Daglfing”
On all trade fair days—If you are travelling via the A94, leave the motorway at the Daglfing junction. Parking is subject to a charge of 15 euros.

There are several car parks for coaches near bauma, which can be reached on foot in just a few minutes.

Separate parking spaces are also set up for campervans during bauma 2022. These are located at the Olympia equestrian stadium. Here, there is a free shuttle bus to the exhibition grounds that travels daily between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. during the duration of bauma.

If you would like to travel between the airport, hotel and exhibition centre by taxi, the taxi rank is only a few steps away. At the airport, it is located directly in front of the terminals. At the exhibition centre you will find taxi ranks at the West, North and East entrances.
There are 80 charging stations available in the Parkhaus West parking garage. The activation for free refuelling is done with common chip / transponder cards. It is not possible to make a reservation in advance.
In the interests of sustainability, it is also possible to travel to the event on e-scooters.
Please only park the e-scooters in the designated zone and not on pavements.
If you are travelling by bicycle, please use the bicycle stands in front of the West + East entrances to the exhibition centre. The bicycle stands are open to the public and are not guarded.
It is forbidden to lock your bicycle to the fencing around the exhibition centre. These will be removed for a fee if necessary.
Germany’s second largest airport guarantees excellent continental and intercontinental air connections. Messe München is located 42 kilometers south of Munich Airport. Shuttle buses, public transport and taxis take you directly to the exhibition center.

Get directly from the airport to bauma and back: Our shuttle buses travel every 15 minutes and drop you off at the North entrance of the exhibition grounds. Travel time: around 45 minutes.
To get to the other bauma entrances, you can transfer to the all-around shuttle at the North entrance.
