Your application for bauma
Present at bauma—represented in the world. Apply to become a part of the world's leading trade fair for construction machinery, building materials and mining machines, construction vehicles and equipment.
Application as main exhibitor
Anyone wishing to participate in bauma as an exhibitor must apply online as a main exhibitor. The application is not binding. How you can apply, and what you should pay attention to, is explained here.
Important: Please note that all exhibits must correspond to the bauma product groups directory and that used and leased machinery may not be exhibited.
The official deadline for applying as a main exhibitor was January 30, 2024.
Application for bauma 2025 is still possible. Please note, however, that due to the high demand for exhibition space, main exhibitors applying after this date will be placed on the waiting list.

Important information on using the Messe München Account for exhibitor registration
1. You don't have a Messe München account yet? Please register.
2. You already have a Messe München account? Please log in with your access data.
3. Your previous access data doesn't work? Use the “Forgot password” function or register again if necessary.
Note: Did you last use your Messe München account before April 2024? In this case, a new registration may be necessary due to a system change.
The application process step by step
Main exhibitor application
We are pleased that you wish to participate in bauma as a main exhibitor. Please read the following instructinos carefully; they contain important information regarding the application process. All further information on preparing your trade-fair participation can be found under Tips, Dates & Deadlines.
Please note: Applying for bauma, does not entail a legally binding contract for booth space. If we can offer booth space to you, you will receive a placement proposal from us in the summer of 2024. The placement proposal only includes the stand space itself; stand building and equipment are not included. These and various other services can be booked later, after the placement proposal has been accepted, via the
Exhibitor Shop.
Withdrawal from the registration: The registration for bauma 2025 is not legally binding, i.e. withdrawal of the registration is possible free of charge until the placement proposal has been confirmed. If you want to withdraw the registration, please write to: exhibiting@bauma.de
How to apply
- Take note of the General Terms of Participation A, the Special Terms of Participation B and the Technical Guidelines listed below.
- Switch to the online application and enter all required data. Please do not forget to submit the form at the end.
- A personal e-mail address must be used for each contact specified. It is not possible to use one e-mail address for several persons.
- The registered company is the contractual partner and thus the invoice recipient.
- The contact named in the application will receive the placement proposal as well as the log-in details for the bauma Exhibitor Shop.
Placement process
Start of allocation and placement proposal
The allocation process of the booths in the halls and the outdoor space will start after the official deadline for main exhibitors at the end of January 2024. After checking your application and subject to a placement possibility and affiliation to the defined classification, we will send you a placement proposal in the spring / summer of 2024 after completion of overall planning.
Feedback placement proposal
You agree with your placement? Then please confirm your placement proposal within the set deadline. Please note: by confirming the placement proposal, the registration becomes legally valid. From this point on, cancellation fees will apply if you cancel your trade fair participation. For details on the cancellation fees, please refer to the General Terms of Participation A.
You do not agree with your placement?
Then you can either request an alternative placement or withdraw your registration free of charge. Please note that the possibilities for reallocating your booth at bauma may be limited due to high demand and that it may not be possible to consider all customer requests.
Please respond to your placement proposal within the specified deadline by clicking the appropriate button to either confirm or reject it.
Invoicing
Admission invoice
The admission invoices will be sent out in the summer / autumn of 2024. Payment deadline is 15 January, 2025.
Please note that if you wish to have an invoice re-issued because the name, legal form or address of the invoice recipient has changed, the exhibitor is bound to pay Messe München GmbH a fee of EUR 50 for each invoice amendment.
Final invoice
The final invoices will be sent out in July / August 2025.
Terms of participation and further information
Co-exhibitor application
Main exhibitors who wish to register co-exhibitors for participation in bauma can do so online using an individual link. The registration is mandatory.
Official deadline for applying as a co-exhibitor: 13 December 2024
Registering co-exhibitors for your stand
- Once you have finalized the main exhibitor application, you will receive an e-mail from us confirming your application. This e-mail also contains the individualized registration link that you need in order to register your co-exhibitor(s).
- This registration link is also available in the bauma registration portal. Under "My registrations", you can view your submitted registrations. Select the "Co-exhibitor" icon under "Actions" to find the link to register your co-exhibitor(s).
- Please send this link directly to your co-exhibitor(s) in order for them to register.
- If you are registered as an exhibitor for various events of Messe München, please make sure that you select the bauma registration.
- If you have registered several stands for bauma, please select the stand for which you want to register your co-exhibitor(s).
